In the afternoon, we walk deeper into this ancient rainforest, exploring lush forest glades and the creekside valley, and swim beneath a pristine, secluded waterfall.

Please note this tour is available for guests who can meet us in Port Douglas or Mossman (Silky Oaks).
We offer morning pickup service from your accommodation if you are staying in Port Douglas or Mossman (eg. Silky Oaks).
Cairns guests can meet us at the Port Douglas IGA Supermarket.
Guests staying north of the Daintree River can meet us at the Solar Whisper carpark on the south side of the River.
We return to your Port Douglas accommodation by approx 5:00pm.

Leaving Port Douglas, we travel north into the lush Daintree Rainforest, partaking in a fascinating crocodile-spotting Daintree River cruise, then crossing the Daintree River by cable ferry, and soaking in the gorgeous views from Walu Wugirriga Lookout on the Alexandra Range.
We have access to the largest private rainforest reserve in the Daintree, for our Ancient Giants Trail, an easy and fascinating stroll through this most biodiverse part of Australia.
We then indulge in a rejuvenating swim in the glorious natural Dragons Lagoon.
Followed by a magnificent and informative stroll down our favourite Daintree beach, where the rainforest meets the reef, to the mouth of the river estuary.
After all the hard work is done, we enjoy a superb gourmet lunch, freshly cooked by a chef from the finest restaurant in the Daintree.
Most guests will relish the chance to enjoy a superb Daintree Tropical Ice Cream, before returning to Port Douglas for the evening.

Here we may also indulge in a magical swim in the natural rockpools of the Gorge.
We then experience a luxurious three course lunch at the Treehouse Restaurant, with breathtaking views over the river.
And for the afternoon, we journey to the ancient Daintree River for a boat cruise, looking for saltwater crocodiles and other native wildlife.
